BFI releases tender notices for 3x3 & 5v5 Pro Basketball Leagues
As reported earlier, BFI is aiming to retain 100% of the league ownership this time around, unlike in February, when it had invited proposals for sixteen leagues.
Keeping to its commitment of expediting the process of the launch of 3x3 and 5v5 Pro Leagues, Basketball Federation of India has released the tender notices for both, on its website.
The notices, released on May 27, disclose the key dates regarding the tender process.
BFI will be invited bids under a “two-bid basis” - one a Technical Bid, and the second a Financial Bid - to engage an Organizing Partner for both the leagues.
As reported earlier, BFI is aiming to retain 100% of the league ownership this time around, unlike in February, when it had invited proposals for sixteen leagues.
It will be interesting to see how many entities apply under the new terms. Applicants need to deposit a Tender Fee of INR 2,00,000/- by 14 June 3pm.
The Start Date of the bid submission is 29 May 12pm, while end date is 17 June 12pm.
