Sub-junior (U13) nationals from 3rd August

The 48th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship for Boys & Girls will be held at Puducherry from 3rd to 9th August 2023.

As per a circular sent to all of its affiliated units, the Basketball Federation of India has announced the dates and venue of the 48th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship for Boys & Girls.

India’s premier U14 (aka ‘mini’) championships will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Puducherry, between 3rd to 9th August 2023.

Players born on or after 01-01-2010 are eligible to participate.

Players have been asked to bring original birth certificates obtained within three years of their birth, along with their Aadhar card.

Nivia Size 6 balls will be used at the event.

Additionally, a referees’ examination for promotion to ‘A’ panel and inclusion in ‘B’ panel will be conducted.

The last date for both the team entries and referee candidates is 20th July.
