Sonics Goa Basketball League: U17 Girls Join the Action
Don Bosco and Loyola boys go 2-0, while hosts Sonics make a dazzling debut in the girls section.
Panjim, Goa – October 20, 2025: The 3rd All-Goa U17 Basketball League, organized by the Sonics Sports & Cultural Youth Club, completed three days of intense action at the Youth Hostel, Miramar.
While October 17 and 18 focused on boys’ games, day three saw the girls’ teams finally entering the fray.
Among boys, Loyola and the Don Bosco sides have set the early pace with back to back wins, while hosts Sonics have marked already themselves as initial favourites in the girls section.
Day 1 – The Tip-Off
The league began with a contrasting slate of results, as Don Bosco teams established their aggressive intent, while Sunshine World School won a cliffhanger against Lourdes Juniors.
