Sikkim Open Basketball Tournament 2024: Teams & Dates

Local clubs from across Sikkim, as well as guest teams from West Bengal, Nepal, and Meghalaya, besides other players from across India will be participating.

The Sikkim State Open Basketball Tournament 2024, organized by the Basketball Association of Sikkim (BAS), is set to take place from September 14 to 18 at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok. The tournament will feature both the Inter-School Boys & Girls category and the Open Division for Men’s & Women’s teams.

Twelve teams will participate in the men's event, including local clubs from Sikkim and guest teams from West Bengal, Nepal, and Meghalaya. The women's event will include six teams, with participation from Sikkim and guest teams from Nepal and Meghalaya.

• Inter-School Boys: TNA Gangtok, PM SGS Singtam, TIS Takshi, SXS Pankyong, EMRS Gangyap, Manjushree Public School, NP Darjeeling, SAS Kalimpong, GD Goenka Siliguri

• Inter-School Girls: TIS Takshi, DGSSS Deorali, SXS Pakyong, KGBV Yuksum, EMRS Gangyap, TNA Gangtok, SJC Kalimpong, PNG Gangtok, GD Goenka Siliguri

• Open Division Men: Vikings Gangtok, Demi Monks Tashiding, ISA Nepal, Yetis Namchi, Trouts Gangtok, Ravens Gangtok, Gtk. Ballers Gangtok, Kingsmen Shilong, ONYX Shilong, DUBAKH Shillong, Hoopsters Gangtok, SYM Shillong

• Open Division Women: Rising Stars Gangtok, Dubakh Shilong, Valkyries Gangtok, LI NING Nepal, Shillong Labet, ISA Nepal

Games Schedule

• 14th September: 7 am to 4 pm (Pool Phase)

• 15th September: 7 am to 5 pm (Pool Phase)

• 16th September: 7 am to 4 pm (Pool Phase)

• 17th September: 7 am to 3 pm (Knockouts)

• 18th September: 10 am to 4 pm (Knockouts)
