Rajasthan to Host 75th Senior State Basketball Championship from October 9
This event - to be jointly held for both men and women in Didwana - will spotlight the state’s emerging talent and serve as a pathway to the national stage.
Didwana, Rajasthan: The Rajasthan Basketball Association (RBA) has announced that the 75th Senior State Basketball Championship 2025 for both men and women will be held in Didwana from October 9 to October 12, 2025.
The RBA confirmed the dates in a circular shared in Ekalavyas’ Rajasthan Basketball WhatsApp group, marking a milestone edition for one of the state’s longest-running basketball tournaments.
“The 75th edition of the State Championship is a proud moment for Rajasthan basketball,” said RBA Secretary Devendra Singh Shekhawat. “This event will spotlight the state’s emerging talent and serve as a pathway to the national stage.”
Important Dates & Deadlines
According to a circular issued by RBA Secretary Devendra Singh Shekhawat, teams intending to participate must have confirmed their entries by September 30, 2025. Entries should have been sent to either:

The organizing committee will be chaired by Jayaprakash Parihar (Mo. 9820903910) and coordinated by Govind Kumar Gurjar (Mo. 9414587175) and Mahendra Purohit (Mo. 9413925706).
Pathway to Nationals
During the championship, match officiating will be carried out by certified basketball referees under the RBA’s official guidelines.
Players selected in this state championship will later be eligible to represent Rajasthan at the National Basketball Championship, scheduled to be held in Chennai from January 5 to January 12, 2026.
Entry Guidelines
Each team must submit a player entry form, a list of players approved by the district association, and authorization letters before the deadline. Teams must also ensure that players’ eligibility and records are properly verified prior to participation.
Players must bring their original birth certificates and Aadhaar cards for verification. Those representing districts other than their birthplace will need to provide a residency certificate approved by the District Collector or competent authority, as well as a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their home district.
