North East Elite Basketball League Announced for U19 Men
ABC Basketball Development League and ACG launch a new franchise-based competition in Mizoram, set to tip-off in June 2026.
Aizawl, Mizoram, April 23: In a step towards grassroots basketball development in India, ABC Basketball Development League Private Limited, in collaboration with ACG, officially announced the launch of the North East Elite Basketball League (Under-19) at a press conference on April 23 in Aizawl.
The league is scheduled to be held in June 2026 in Mizoram and will feature young basketball talent from across all seven North Eastern states.
Anirudh Pole, Founder, ABC Basketball Development League Pvt. Ltd. & League CEO said:
“This initiative was very essential to create a professional league for Northeast kids because they have immense talent, but what they truly need is the right platform. With this pioneer season, we aim to bring multiple players into the mainstream of Indian basketball. This marks the beginning of a new era for Northeast basketball.”
