FIBA approvals are stringent. The balls are checked on 8 parameters – Circumference, Sphericity, Weight, Rebound, Inflation stress, Pressure loss, Thermal Stress and Durability. The ball is inserted into a bounce machine and rebounded against steel plate for 20,000 times. It is only after that the 8 parameters are checked for their trueness. Earlier in the year, NIVIA was recognized as the ET iconic Brand of India in the sports category.
