MRRCRBD Trust Congratulates Baladhaneshwar Poiyamozhi
The MRRCRBD Trust in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu has congratulated Baladhaneshwar Poiyamozhi (of Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai) for representing INDIA as a CAPTAIN in the 4th FIBA Under-16 Asian Basketball Championship which was held at 29th October - to 7th November 2015 at Jakarta, Indonesia. Baladhaneshwar Poiyamozhi was also awarded as the BEST PERFORMER (Avg: 24.8) in this Championship.

Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School has participated in various basketball tournaments organized by The Trust such as State Level Inter School Basketball Tournament in 2013, South India Level Inter School Basketball Tournament in 2014 and All India Inter School Basketball Tournament in 2015 (Mamannan Raja Raja Cholan cup-2015). The Velammal Matric Higher Secondary School has won the title consecutively in all the three tournaments with Baladhaneshwar Poiyamozhi as a player in these tournaments.
The Trust organized Mamannan Raja Raja Cholan Cup All India Inter School tournament during 22nd -26th July 2015 after a gap of 13 years in Tamil Nadu. The Trust expressed happiness that many players like Baladhaneshwar Poiyamozhi have participated and are getting motivated to represent the country.
The Trust wished and congratulated Baladhaneshwar Poiyamozhi and expressed special thanks to the Chairman, Velammal Group of Institutions and Mr. Gnanamurugaraj, Physical Director, Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
