Mizoram Super League Basketball: Season 10 to tip off from March 11

As India’s oldest pro basketball league launched in 2015, MSL is one of the most well-attended basketball events in the country, featuring players from Mizoram, rest of India and even abroad.

The 10th season of the Mizoram Super League (MSL) is all set to begin on March 11, 2025. The tournament will bring together eight basketball teams from across the state in a thrilling league-style competition.

Teams: Khatla TBL, Bungkawn LB, Champhai BC, Zemabawk BC, Chanmari BC, Zarkawt BCA, Saron BC, Electric BC

Through a total of 28 regular season games, each team will play against every other twice.

As India’s oldest pro basketball league launched in 2015, the competition is expected to be fiercer and more entertaining than ever. Zarkawt BCA, the reigning champions, will be looking to defend their title, adding a sixth championship to their trophy cabinet.

Venues

The league's fixtures will be played across two venues:​

• R. Dengṭhuama Hall, Mualpui: This venue will host Matches 1 to 10 and 15 to 24, providing a central location for fans in the region.​

• VANIS, Champhai: Matches 11 to 14 are scheduled here, offering basketball enthusiasts in Champhai a chance to also witness the games up close.​

Mizo Sporting Culture

Beyond the on-court action, the MSL is a way to bring the Mizo community together as well as an opportunity to highlight the state’s sporting culture. One of the most well-attended basketball tournaments in the country, the Mizoram Super League is a celebration of talent, community, and the unifying power of sports.
