Bengaluru, Karnataka, 24 December 2024: Passion for the sport has no age. The Masters Basketball Academy (MBA) Bengaluru is set to host its first-ever All India Masters Basketball Tournament, from January 23-25 at the iconic Kanteerava Stadium courts.
‘Masters’ are older athletes/sportspersons usually in the 30+ age group.
The tournament will feature various categories. For men, the age brackets include 40 and above, 45 and above, 50 and above, 55 and above, and 60 and above. Women players will compete in the 30 and above, 40 and above, 45 and above, 50 and above, and 55 and above categories.

Explaining the motivation behind hosting the competition, the Organizing Secretary of MBA, Mr Nagraj N, said:
