Kolkata Jr NBA: St Teresa's, Calcutta International, Baidyabati Charushila Bose Balika Vidyalaya and Amar Bharat Vidyapeet triumph

The Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA 3on3 Regional Championship in Kolkata witnessed 115+ basketball teams in the Under-12 and Under-14 categories.

Kolkata: The Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA 3on3 Regional Championship witnessed a great turnout in Kolkata as 115+ basketball teams made their way from across the city to participate in the Under-12 and Under-14 categories.

Calcutta International School and St. Teresa's Secondary School clinched the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively in the U-12 category of the tournament.  In the boys U-14 category, Amar Bharat Vidyapeeth and U-14 girls Baidyabati Charushila Bose Balika Vidyalaya secured the respective titles.

In the U-12 boys’ final, Calcutta International School beat Don Bosco Park Circus 6-4. With respect to the U-12 girls’ tournament, St Teresa's Secondary School outperformed Modern High School for Girls with a score of 7-3.

As for the U-14 girls’ final, Baidyabati Charushila Bose Balika Vidyalaya beat Calcutta International 7-3 and in the U-14 boys’ finals, Amar Bharat Vidyapeeth beat Don Bosco Siliguri 9–4.

All four winners have qualified for the National Championship to be held in Delhi in the next few weeks. The Reliance Foundation Jr NBA program will head to Aizawl next in its effort to reach boys and girls across 14 cities leading up to the National Championships.
