Karnataka announces boys and girls squads for the 68th Junior Nationals

Bengaluru, 2nd June 2016: A press release sent out yesterday by the Karnataka State Basketball Association (KSBBA) announced the squads for the upcoming 68th Junior Nationals at the Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida, UP. Prathanshu (YMMA) and Harshitha (DYES, Vidyanagar) have been selected to lead the boys and girls teams respectively.

The rosters are as follows:

Boys

Prathanshu (Captain, YMMA), Pramod, Vishal, Prabhat (all YMMA), Adithya (Greens, Davangere), Dev, Vishnu (both Devanga Union),  Prajwal (Beagles),  Akshay (DYES, B’lore), Pavan (NGV), Yeshwanth (IBBC), Akshay (Bharath).

Coach: Thangachan (MEG).

Girls Harshitha (Captain, DYES, Vidyanagar), Sanjana, Chandana (both Beagles),  Snigddha, Pavana (ABBC),  Divya (IBBC),Rajvi (CJC),  Aishwarya (DYES, Vidyanagar),  Meera, Aastha (both Mounts), Anagha (JSC), Tanya (Beagles).

Coach: Mohan Kumar J E (Beagles).

The 68th Junior Nationals are set to be played from 4-11 June, 2017. Karnataka girls and the Tamil Nadu boys are the defending champions.
