Harsimran "Honey" Kaur, one of India’s top basketball talents, is returning to her roots to host the "Honey Kaur Basketball Camp" from August 12th to 14th, 2024, at R.C.F Stadium in Kapurthala, Punjab.

This camp offers young athletes the chance to learn directly from an elite player who has made significant strides on the international stage.

Who is Harsimran Kaur?

Harsimran comes from a strong sports lineage—her mother was an international volleyball athlete, and her father was a national-level basketball player.

She began her basketball journey at 17, quickly rising through the ranks at the NBA Academy in Greater Noida. This led to her becoming the first female NBA Academy prospect from India to train at the NBA Global Academy in Canberra, Australia. She has also participated in NBA camps in Chicago and Tampa and was part of the NBA x FIBA Basketball Without Borders program in Tokyo in 2019.

Notably, Harsimran represented India at the 2019 South Asian Games and the FIBA U18 3x3 Asia Cup, She earned the title of Most Valuable Player at the NBA Academy Women’s Program India Camp in Mumbai that same year.

After completing her high school education at Central Pointe Christian Academy in Kissimmee, FL, Harsimran joined the University of San Diego, where she spent three seasons with the Toreros. In the 2023-2024 season, she played 31 games, starting in 29, and averaged 8.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. Her standout performance came against Pepperdine, where she scored 21 points and got 5 rebounds.

For the 2024-2025 season, Harsimran has transferred to Rhode Island Women’s Basketball, where she will compete in NCAA Division 1 and the Atlantic 10 Conference.

• Dates: August 12th to 14th, 2024.

• Time: 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm IST.

• What’s in Store: Participants will have the  chance to learn from one of India’s top female athletes playing Division 1, college Basketball in the USA. Exclusive T-shirts and bags will also be provided.
