India owned 3x3 franchise to compete in 'highest prize money' global league
Toronto Patriots, part of the Patriots franchise of sports teams owned by Mumbai based World of Krida Pvt Ltd, will be participating in the 3x3.EXE Super Premier, with a total prize money of $171,000.
An India-owned global 3x3 team - Toronto Patriots - is all set to compete in Round 1 of the 3x3.EXE Super Premier to be held in Japan on January 13-14.
The Patriots team that includes well known Indian origin 3x3 pros Inderbir Singh Gill and Bikramjit Gill, is owned by Mumbai based World of Krida Pvt Ltd.
The Patriots squad had been practicing at Dream Basketball Academy (DBA), Hyderabad - the official Training & Facility Partner - before their departure to Japan.
Besides basketball, the larger ‘Patriots’ franchise includes teams in Handball (‘Rajasthan Patriots’), Table Tennis (‘Jaipur Patriots’), Cricket (‘Chicago Patriots’) and Tennis (‘Punjab Patriots’).
Games’ Schedule & Watch Details
Round 1 is taking place at the Xebio Arena in Sendai, Japan.
The Toronto Patriots will first face Australia’s Sentinels Blue.EXE and SCC Wildcats.EXE on January 13 in the pool round. Patriots will need to finish in the top two to progress to the knockout rounds the next day.

About 3x3.EXE Super Premier
Twelve teams from across the globe are competing in the Super Premier. Following the initial round in Japan, teams will compete in Thailand and Australia in February, before the $100,000 Final leg again in Japan.
The total prize money on offer across all four Rounds is $171,000.
Besides the whopping prize money, the winning team and runner-up team in the Final will be qualified for FIBA World Tour in 2024. In addition, the winning team in each regular round (R1-R3) will be qualified for FIBA Challenger in 2024 respectively.
