Goa All-Star Games Women's Action: YMCA Infiknights Triumph Over Don Bosco Oratory

Panjim, 14th July 2023: The Goa All-Star Games at the Don Bosco Oratory (DBO) in Panjim continued on its fourth day, showcasing the talents of women basketball players. Organized by the YMCA Knights Basketball Club, the tournament welcomed a flurry of enthusiastic spectators.
Playing on their home court, in front of their passionate fans, the young DBO girls were clearly outmatched by the much more experienced, older and skilled YMCA Infiknights team. The crowd loudly cheered the two baskets their team made, particularly celebrating the impressive three-pointer by Anna Mathews.
For Infiknights, Amisha led the charge with an impressive 15 points, showcasing her scoring prowess and offensive skills throughout the game. Sarah also made a significant impact, contributing 13 points to the team's total.
Although DBO faced a tough challenge against the YMCA Infiknights, this valuable competitive exposure provided a significant learning opportunity for its young girls. The knowledge gained from competing against strong opponents in a high-stakes tournament will undoubtedly contribute to their growth and development as basketball players.
