FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers: India Men's Preliminary Roster Announced

India's first game will be an away encounter against Kazakhstan on February 23, followed by a home game versus Iran on February 26 in New Delhi

India’s much awaited - but rarely disclosed - preliminary roster for the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers has been announced.

The 24 names on the initial list is along expected lines, barring the notable omission of former NBA G-League player Amjyot Singh Gill - who was missing in action even in the 72nd Senior National Championship held last December.

The preliminary roster will now be pruned to the final 12-man squad within the next few days, as we get closer to the tip off of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers. India's first game will be an away encounter against Kazakhstan on February 23, followed by a home game versus Iran on February 26 in New Delhi.
