FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup 2024: India Games Schedule & Watch Details

Only the Indian women’s team will be taking part (as men haven’t qualified), starting with the first game vs Japan on August 26 at 10:15pm IST.

The FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup will be held in Debrecen, Hungary from August 26 to 30.

Only the Indian women’s team will be taking part (as men haven’t qualified), with India grouped with Kyrgyzstan, Japan, China and Uganda*.

India’s Games Schedule (IST timings)

26 August, 10:15 pm vs Japan
27 August, 12:05 am vs China
28 August, 10:15 pm vs Kyrgyzstan

India needs to finish among the top two teams to progress to the quarterfinals.

*The Uganda team initially listed in the same Group is no longer showing on the competitions page - and its status is unclear.

As in previous editions, it can be expected that all the games will be streamed live on the FIBA 3x3, and the main FIBA YouTube Channels.

3x3 Basketball in India is growing by leaps and bounds in India. Already a popular format in pick-up basketball, in 2017, India got its first 3x3 Pro Basketball League called '3BL'. This has helped the shorter format of 3x3 basketball in India gain credibility.

At the inaugural ‘FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championship’ in 2011, both the Indian boys and girls teams had taken part.

In the previous 2023 edition, the Indian boys team had participated, finishing 12th.
