eFIBA Season 2: India team, schedule and watch details
This is the first time that India will be participating in FIBA's online gaming competition that uses the NBA2K platform
Kolkata-based ‘Team LGN’ is all set to make history, as India’s first-ever basketball e-gaming team to compete in an international competition.
‘Team LGN’, which is the shortened version of ‘Let’s Game Now’ - a gaming company where all the squad members are employed, will be representing India in this year’s eFIBA Season 2.
This will mark India’s debut in the FIBA’s global competitive e-gaming event between national federations.

What are India’s Chances?
Only the top team from the South Asia Regional Final will secure a spot in the eFIBA Season 2 World Finals 2023 to be held in Sweden on November 25-26.
Within India’s regional qualifiers pool, the Philippines are believed to be favourites, having been recently invited to participate in this year’s Olympics Esports Week.
That said, the Indian team has been practicing hard on a daily basis, with all its members having achieved the mandatory 85 rating on the newly released NBA 2K24 installment of NBA’s eponymous video game series. All the squad members also have prior international experience, having represented the country in other e-gaming sports - notably FIFA.
“Watch out, we won’t disappoint you,” was one of the team members, Abhisek Mondal’s message to the Indian basketball community.
