Delhi Basketball: Harish Sharma 3x3 C'ship on Dec 28-29

The championship is held in memory of Late Shri Harish Sharma, a leader whose contributions as CEO and Secretary-General of the Basketball Federation of India played a key role in promoting the sport.

New Delhi, December 24, 2024: The Harish Sharma 3x3 Men and Women Basketball Championship 2024 will take place on December 28-29 at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex.

Organized by the Delhi Basketball Association in partnership with TABATA Sports, the tournament is endorsed by FIBA 3x3 and offers a total prize pool of ₹2,50,000, with ₹51,000 awarded to the winning team.

Skills contests, including a dunk competition, three-point shooting, and a free throw contest, will also be held.

While the 3x3 competition will be restricted to players aged 18 to 40, the free throw event invites players of all ages in the 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+ and 80+ age categories.

Registration for teams and individual events will close on December 26. Participants must create a FIBA 3x3 profile, form a team, and confirm their spot via official invites.
