Chennai Heat to take part in West Asia Super League
The team from down south qualified on the basis of being the winners of BFI-INBL Season 1.
Giving Indian basketball players something to look forward to, Chennai Heat club team will be competing against West Asia’s top club sides starting next week in Dubai.
About West Asia Super League - Final 8
There are eight teams participating - comprising the champion teams from Central Asia, South Asia, West Asia League - top 3 teams and Gulf League - top three teams.
Chennai has been grouped with Al Riyadi, Al Manama and Beirut, in group A.
Group B features BC Astana, Kuwait Club, Shahrdary Gorgan and Shabab Al Ahli - Dubai.
The top two teams from each group will proceed to the semifinals.
