Calicut University Crowned National Champions

New Delhi, 19th Nov 2015: Calicut University women were crowned as All India Inter University Women Basketball Champions after a gap of 13 years as they beat Hindustan University 60-54 in the final here at the Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.

Calicut University led 34-27 at the half time. The top scorer was Aswathy S Thampi with 22 points followed by Elizabeth Hillarios with 16 points and for Hindustan Sruthi was the top scorer with 18 points.
