Basketball Jobs India: Northeast Frontier Railway announces recruitment

Northeast Frontier Railway is inviting eligible citizens of India for appointment of sportspersons, including 7 for basketball.

Northeast Frontier Railway is calling for applications for appointment of sportspersons in its Maligaon headquarters, as well as for its divisional units in Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding & Tinsukia.

There are seven vacancies for basketball specifically, comprising four women and three men.

Seven Vacancies for Basketball

All seven vacancies for basketball are for the Northeast Frontier Railway Headquarters in Maligaon.

For Men, all three vacancies are in the Grade Pay Rs 2000/1900/- (Level 3 & 2)*. Two of these vacancies are for post players, while the third one is for an ‘all-rounder’.

The four women’s vacancies are all in the Grade Pay Rs 1800/- (Level 1)* category, for two shooters and two ‘all-rounders’.

*As per the 7th Pay Commission.

Educational Qualifications

For Levels 2 & 3, the candidates must be minimum 12th-standard pass.

For Level 1, the candidates must have cleared 10th-standard or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
