Job Title: Head of Business Development cum Operations Location: Trivandrum/Kochi
Job Type: Full-Time
The Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Business Development and Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing operations, and ensuring the smooth execution of all programs and initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for promoting Basketball in Kerala.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the reach and impact of the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue generation through sponsorships, collaborations, and strategic alliances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, sports organizations, and sponsors.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Integrate Technology initiatives into Sport Development
- Build a sustainable model including a new Basketball League in Kerala -
2. Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Grassroot programs, training centers, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of programs and services.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and maintain high-quality standards.
- Manage a team of coaches, trainers, and administrative staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of programs and initiatives, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
3. Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team to set strategic goals and objectives for the organization's growth and development.
- Develop comprehensive business plans, including financial projections and performance metrics, to guide decision-making and resource allocation.
- Identify areas for improvement and innovation, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Marketing and Promotions:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote programs, events, and competitions.
- Participate in the planning and execution of promotional campaigns, leveraging digital marketing and traditional advertising channels.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and brand recognition.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any subject ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, operations management, or a related field, preferably in the sports industry.
- Proven track record of successful business development, strategic planning, and team management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- A passion for sports, particularly basketball, and a strong understanding of the sports
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation Package will be commensurate to your experience and as per Industry standards.
