Alvas Moodabidri & ASC crowned Karnataka State Champs
Davangere, 13th Dec 2015: The Karnataka State Association Cup Championship concluded earlier today at the Merchants Sports Club Davangere courts.
ASC men and Alvas Moodabidri women clinched the titles in style in their respective categories. In the men’s section Issac Thomas led ASC with his 14 points. In the women’s section, international women's player Bhandavya outplayed her opponents with her clutch shooting skills as she drained 31 points for Alvas Moodabidri.

Men: ASC 50 (Issac Thomas 14, Shashikumar 11) bt MEG 45 (Bernatsha 18) HT 28-24.
Women: Alvas Moodabidri 60 (Bhandavya 31, Rakshitha 14) bt DYES Mysore 53 (Kavana 17, Supriya 13) HT 22-23.
SEMI FINALS RESULTS:
Men: 1. ASC 64 (Shashikumar 24, Issac Thomas 12) bt Vijaya Bank 60 (Arvind 22, Rajesh 21) HT 27-23. 2. MEG 41(Manu Thomas 10) bt NGV BC 22 (Abhishek 17) HT 27-06.
Women: 1. Alvas Moodabidri 82 (Bhandavya 31, Rakshitha 21) bt Mounts Club 69 (Sagarika 17, Lopamudra 14) HT 44-31. 2. DYES Mysore 76 (Supriya 15, Dechamma 15) bt Beagles BC 58 (Chandana 33, Konika 17) HT 33-26.
