4th Theresian Trophy All Kerala Inter School Basketball Tournament

Kangazha, 18^th October, 2016: St. Thomas HSS Kozhencherry bagged the 4^th Theresian Trophy All Kerala Inter School Basketball Tournament as they scraped past Girideepam Bethany 64-63 here at the newly built Indoor Basketball Court at Little Flower Vidhyanikethan & Jr. College, Mundathanam, Kanghazha.

St. Thomas, who trailed 32-42 in the first half came back in the last two quarters to beat Girideepam 64-63, with Nikhil George topping the scoring tally for St. Thomas, Kozhemcherry, with 22 points. He was supported by the tall and lanky Sen Jin Mathew who contributed 15 points. Ijas Ameer was the  Leading Scorer for Girideepam with 21 points.

Earlier in the Semi Finals Girideepam beat Lourdes Public School 43-15, while St. Thomas beat Shanthaljyothi 29-14 to make the finals of the 4th Theresian Trophy All Kerala Inter School Basketball Tournament.
