26th Girideepam Invitational Trophy 2016
Kottayam, 31st October, 2016: Girideepam Boys and Girls won the 26th Edition of Girideepam All India Inter School Invitational Basketball at the Girideepam Stadium in Vadavasthoor, Kottayam. In the girls finals, after trailing 16-28 at the half time, Girideepam came out strongly in the final quarter to beat Mount Carmel GHSS, Kottayam 64-60. In the boys, in an evenly contested match, Girideepam defeated SH CMI Public School Thevara, 68-63.
