18th Golden Jubilee Memorial Inter Collegiate Basketball for Women
Chanagancherry, 7th September, 2016: Providence College, Kozhikode took the title as they beat host Assumption College in the finals of the 18th All Kerala Golden Jubilee Memorial Inter Collegiate Basketball for Women here at the Assumption College, Chanagancherry.
In a closely contested match, after leading 18-17 at half time, Providence went on to beat Assumption, 52-43 with Mayuka came as the top scorer (18 points).For Assumption, Nimmy Mathew and Arathy Vimal contributing 12 points each.
Mayuka K T of Providence and Arathy Vimal from Assumption were judged as the Best players while Nimmy Mathew from Assumption grabbed the Promising Player Award.
The Trophies and Mementos were distributed by College Manager Msgr. James Palakkal.
